History of the company

Beginning of the joint activities of executive directors of the firm in realm of auditors services is dates back to 1990, when a profession of auditors officially started – verifiers of final accounts in the region which is at present time the Czech Republic.

After the change of legislation enabling body corporate to provide auditors services, current partners decided in 1992 to establish public trading company (partnership). In 1994 the firm was transformed into limited liability company (partnership) named HÁJEK, KOČOVÁ & spol., s.r.o.

The firm has been registered on the list of body corporate since 1993 and it provides auditors services administered by The Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic (www.kacr.cz) – authorization of record on the List of Audit Firms number 127.

In 1996, executive directors of the firm were registered on the List of Tax Advisers administered by The Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic (www.kdpcr.cz). After the change of Law on Tax Advisory that enabled also body corporate to act as tax advisers, the accounting firm was registered as a body corporate – tax adviser. Tax advisers of the firm pledged to respect self-imposed „Ethical code of The Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic“.

In 2004, after fulfilment of necessary requirements, the accounting firm was accepted as a regular member of an international association of independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms MGI (www.mgiworld.com) with more than 200 members in 70 countries on five continents. On the basis of membership in this international network, which guarantees high standard of provided services, the firm is authorized to use a membership affiliation with this organization in its title. Therefore, since 2006, the firm has been providing services under name MGI HÁJEK, KOČOVÁ & spol., s.r.o.
